Job Title: Technology Senior Expert - CCGT AssetsLocation: Doha, QatarRole OverviewWe are seeking a Technology Senior Expert - CCGT Assets based in Doha to manage, optimize, and drive strategic oversight for our CCGT (Combined Cycle Gas Turbine) asset portfolio. Reporting to the Manager of International Asset Management, you will implement advanced technologies and management practices to enhance operational efficiency, ensure strict regulatory compliance, and maximize profitability while aligning with organizational sustainability goals.Key ResponsibilitiesManage day-to-day CCGT asset operations, ensuring high reliability, efficiency, and alignment with corporate quality guidelines.Develop and execute technical strategies to maximize asset output, integrating innovative and advanced management technologies.Supervise asset maintenance programs to minimize operational downtime, mitigate performance deficiencies, and extend asset life cycles.Ensure all CCGT operations strictly comply with local and international regulatory requirements, industry standards, and environmental practices.Foster robust relationships with key external stakeholders, including regulators, government bodies, industry leaders, and technology providers.Perform detailed root cause analysis on performance gaps and develop actionable plans to improve asset efficiency and financial returns.Cascade divisional strategies into sectional business plans, manage sectional budgets, and monitor financial performance against approved guidelines.Lead talent development and sectional people management initiatives, establishing individual performance objectives and motivating technical teams.Qualifications & SkillsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, or Business Administration from a reputable university (Mandatory); an MBA is highly preferred.Deep technical and commercial understanding of the power, energy, and water sectors, including emerging CCGT trends and key industry players.Minimum 10 years of experience in similar asset management roles within large corporate structures.At least 4 years of experience in positions with progressively increasing managerial and leadership responsibilities.Proven expertise in root cause analysis, strategic financial planning, and contractual/regulatory oversight.Strong collaboration, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills to interface with senior executives and international investors.English proficiency (Mandatory), while Arabic language skills are a plus.Comprehensive understanding of Qatar and GCC business culture and operating environments.Why Join UsTake executive ownership of high-value CCGT asset portfolios driving Qatar's utility sector and global footprint.
