Role overviewProvide technical leadership and process engineering support for a major C2 Recovery Project through FEED and EPC phases.Ensure engineering activities, studies, and deliverables meet project specifications, international standards, safety requirements, and operational objectives.Provide technical assurance, support capability development, oversee contractor performance, and deliver safe and reliable engineering solutions.Technical leadership and governanceLead the Process Engineering discipline across all project phases.Review, approve, and endorse engineering designs, studies, and deliverables within delegated authority.Ensure compliance with industry codes, corporate engineering standards, and project requirements.Review technical concepts, feasibility studies, FEED packages, detailed designs, and modifications.Evaluate technical deviations, waivers, and design variations.Project execution supportProvide process engineering expertise during concept selection, FEED, EPC, construction, commissioning, start-up, and handover.Support project execution strategies aligned with technical requirements, safety standards, and operational objectives.Evaluate EPC contractors, vendors, and service providers for compliance with specifications and best practices.Monitor contractor engineering performance and delivery of engineering services.Support interface management across engineering disciplines, project teams, operations, and stakeholders.Technical assurance and riskConduct technical reviews and risk-based assessments of complex engineering issues.Ensure solutions support plant reliability, operability, maintainability, and safety objectives.Identify technical risks and recommend mitigation measures.Support technical assurance processes and standardisation initiatives.Stakeholder and capability developmentMaintain relationships with Operations, SHEQ, Project Management, and internal stakeholders.Coordinate with contractors, vendors, suppliers, shareholders, and third-party service providers.Provide technical advice on process engineering matters and align deliverables with operational requirements.Support resource planning, recruitment, competency assessments, mentoring, and professional development.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related Engineering discipline.Minimum eight years of engineering experience.At least four years of Oil & Gas industry experience.Minimum one year of supervisory, acting lead, or contractor oversight experience.Experience with oil and gas companies, EPC contractors, subcontractors, vendors, or service companies.Knowledge of project planning, scheduling, cost control, project gating, execution plans, risk, change, interfaces, commissioning, and handover.Strong knowledge and application of international engineering standards, specifications, and design.
