We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Technical Sourcing Specialist to lead our global procurement and supplier discovery operations. In this role, you will analyze complex technical RFQs (Requests for Quotation), decipher engineering requirements, and identify original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and authorized global channels.The ideal candidate possesses strong technical acumen to distinguish between major EPC equipment packages and individual spare part components, combined with advanced web research skills and fluent professional English communication.Key Responsibilities1. Technical RFQ & Bill of Materials (BOM) AnalysisReview, interpret, and dissect incoming technical requests, datasheets, part numbers, serial numbers, and equipment tag lists.Differentiate clearly between major EPC package equipment, sub-assemblies, and consumable/wear spare parts.Cross-reference manufacturer part numbers (MPNs), OEM model designations, and obsolete part replacements.2. Global OEM & Vendor SourcingConduct in-depth, advanced research using search engines, industrial directories, and global databases to identify verified OEMs, master distributors, and licensed fabricators worldwide.Reach out to overseas manufacturers to establish direct sourcing relationships, request technical datasheets, and secure competitive price quotes.Negotiate pricing, minimum order quantities (MOQs), incoterms, warranties, and delivery lead times with international vendors.3. Cross-Functional Coordination & CommunicationCommunicate fluently and professionally in English (written and verbal) with international manufacturers across North America, Europe, and Asia.Clarify technical discrepancies, missing specifications, or alternative part offerings with internal engineering and sales teams.Maintain clean vendor records, pricing history, and sourcing intelligence databases.Requirements & QualificationsEducation: Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related technical field.Experience: 2–5+ years of hands-on experience in technical sourcing, industrial procurement, or technical estimation within MRO, heavy industry, or EPC supply chains.Technical Literacy: Proven ability to read engineering drawings, P&IDs, equipment nameplates, exploded part diagrams, and detailed spare parts catalogs.Search & Research Expertise: Expert-level mastery of search operators (Boolean logic, advanced search filters), global trade directories, and technical part discovery.Language Proficiency: Full professional proficiency in English (exceptional written correspondence and articulate verbal communication are essential).Attention to Detail: High accuracy in matching exact specifications, material grades, tolerances, and manufacturer certifications.Preferred QualificationsFamiliarity with major industrial equipment categories (e.g., pumps, valves, compressors, turbines, instrumentation, electrical switchgear).Working knowledge of international commercial terms (Incoterms 2020), export controls, and customs documentation.Experience using enterprise ERP/CRM tools and sourcing platforms
