Requirements
Requires a medical doctor qualification with experience post board certification. For Tier 1, no additional experience is needed post board certification. Tier 2 requires at least 2 years of clinical experience post qualification in an internationally accredited institute. Tier 3 requires at least 3 years of clinical experience as a Specialist post qualification in an internationally accredited institute. UAE nationals have specific experience requirements waived.
Description

 

The Specialist Physician shares the same responsibility of the Consultant Physician for delivering high quality, evidence-based and patient-centred care.  The post holder is expected to be an example of clinical excellence within the Division and contributes to the supervision and training of junior medical staff.
