The successful candidate will have a background in high quality SEN provision and ideally have, or be studying for, a recognised SEN qualification. Experience of working within the UAE, and in particular Dubai, is an advantage and knowledge of the current inspection framework is essential. The school is small but growing quickly and is committed to inclusion as a daily practice and not simply a tagline on a website. Students with additional needs or determinations are valued for their unique contribution to the school and are fully immersed in classroom activities. The successful candidate will oversee the work of an inclusion assistant(s) and also a number of external support assistants who accompany students and may lead on staff training in relation to SEN provision and best practice.
