Requirements
Requires a Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Offshore, or Pipeline Engineering. Must have a minimum of 8 years of offshore subsea pipeline pre-commissioning experience, including at least 3 years in a supervisory role. Strong communication skills in English are essential, along with expertise in DNV-ST-F101, API standards, pre-commissioning equipment, and the Microsoft Office Suite (including Project). Familiarity with QE LNG project specifications and offshore operating practices is highly preferred.

Listed on the Milan Stock Exchange, it is present in more than 50 countries around the world and employs about 30,000 people of over 130 nationalities.Purpose Of The PositionAs Pre-commissioning Engineer, you will respond to the Pre-commissioning Manager and be part of Saipem Qatar within SubseaPre-commissioning Engineering Department.How can you support us Here below your responsibilities:Mission.Be responsible for technical integrity and compliance with estimated costs and deadlines throughout the various engineering phases of the projectPerform directly engineering tasks to guarantee the quality of the product for methods requirementsTasks.The Engineer executes the activities within his area of responsibility, ensuring the compliance with the QA/QC and HSE requirementsTasks IncludeThe Engineer executes the activities within own area of responsibility, ensuring the compliance with the QA/QC and HSE requirementsReport to Offshore Method LeadDraw up a general engineering schedule as stipulated by the contract to be revised by the ProjectIdentify technical problems and make the necessary technical decisions within the limitations imposed by contractual requirementsDraw up definitions and detailed specifications of tasks and sub-tasks or supervise their drafting by other resources if requestedDefine the materials or services to be purchased for engineering tasks within the allocated resource budget, in conjunction with own direct responsibleApprove all the technical design necessary for the purchase and/or construction of products to be supplied to the ClientParticipate to meetings to examine and, if necessary, audit the technical design, and take part in technical examinations with the Client. Cost and scheduling decisions which influence contractual obligations or other functions must be approved by the Project Engineer (if any) and communicated to the Engineering Manager and Project ManagerNotify own direct responsible and the Project Manager of any problems occurring with any other engineering areasPerform all the engineering verifications and calculations necessary for the methodology to be implemented Supervise and verify the drafting describing the methodology to be implementedSummarise and clarify in a manual all methodology activities, clearly identifying the show stoppers (if any).
