This is a long-term contract role working offshore with rotation cycle of 29 days ON / 27 days OFF. Please see details below:Title: Commissioning Engineer (Instrument & Control)Start Date: Negotiable (typically within 1 month notice)Duration: 36 months (potential for extension)Location: Doha HQ with site visitsWorking Schedule: 5-days per week / 8-9 hours per dayQualificationB.E. / B.Sc. Degree in Instrumentation EngineeringExperienceMinimum 15 years Commissioning experience gained in brownfield modifications to oil and gas or similar facilities which must include offshore. Majority of the above experience should be working within a multi-cultural environment. A good command of written and spoken English Primary Duties And ResponsibilitiesThe Commissioning Engineer (onshore based) shall coordinate and produce commissioning dossiers for use offshore by the operations commissioning team and shall be accountable for technical standards and the application of internationally acceptable engineering practices to ensure the plant/equipment is commissioned in an effect and safe manner.
