The Energy Efficiency Policies Specialist is in charge of providing insight, technical, and methodological expertise in shaping and directing water efficiency-related policies and strategies within the energy sector and the broader government sector. This role also includes developing tariff and subsidy reform policies and ensuring that they are consistent with governmental, social, and economic objectives.
Furthermore, the Energy Efficiency Policies Specialist is responsible for ensuring that the policies and strategies developed are consistent with the DoE's plans for advancing the energy sector's development in an effective and efficient manner. This includes effectively disseminating information on energy efficiency issues in order to foster informed discussion, participation, and decision-making.
