The Regulations, Codes & Standards Energy & Water Efficiency Senior Specialist is responsible for providing insight, technical and methodological expertise in shaping and developing energy and water related codes and standards (including district cooling, electricity, energy efficiency, wastewater, groundwater, desalinated water, and recycled water) in all sectors, including residential, commercial, government, industrial, agriculture, and others, in accordance with the vision and mission.
Furthermore, the Regulations, Codes & Standards Energy & Water Efficiency Senior Specialist is in charge of ensuring that the proposed codes and standards are in line with the DoE's broader plans for moving the sector forward in an effective and efficient manner, as well as ensuring that they are properly documented, updated, communicated, and enforced to drive improvement and changes in the sector.
