Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.· 0-3 years of experience in Material Planning, Supply Planning, Logistics Coordination, or Supply Chain Operations within a manufacturing environment.· Coordinating with foreign suppliers and managing international shipments.· Understanding of MRP, inventory management, and replenishment planning processes.· Knowledge of international logistics, Incoterms, shipping methods, and import/export procedures.· Knowledge in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or equivalent).· Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.· Good communication skills· Good command of English, both written and spoken.
Description
· Plan and monitor direct material requirements based on production plans, forecasts, and inventory levels.· Ensure continuous material availability to support production and prevent line stoppages.· Monitor shortage reports and proactively coordinate recovery actions with suppliers and internal stakeholders.· Issue purchase orders/releases in accordance with approved contracts and sourcing agreements managed by HQ Procurement.· Communicate forecasts and material requirements to foreign suppliers to ensure supply continuity and alignment with production needs.· Follow up with foreign suppliers on order confirmations, production status, shipment readiness, and delivery schedules.· Track international inbound shipments and coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and coordination partners to ensure timely material receipt.· Evaluate transportation options and coordinate the most effective shipping method (sea, air, or land) to meet production requirements.· Coordinate expedited shipments when necessary to avoid production delays and material shortages.· Monitor inventory levels, safety stock, and material coverage to maintain optimal inventory performance.· Identify and mitigate supply risks, shipment delays, and potential material shortages through initiative-taking planning and supplier follow-up.· Coordinate material phase-in, phase-out, and engineering changes with suppliers and internal stakeholders.· Maintain accurate planning parameters, supplier schedules, and shipment data within ERP systems.· Collaborate closely with Production, Warehouse, Customs, Quality, and HQ Procurement teams to ensure uninterrupted material flow to the factory.· Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance material availability, inventory control, and supplier delivery performance.
