Team members work in a dynamic environment that emphasizes local expertise, global connectivity, and customer satisfaction.Role Description The Senior Travel Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Heliopolis, responsible for managing complex travel arrangements and delivering high-quality service to clients. Day-to-day tasks include designing and pricing travel packages, booking flights, hotels, and tours, and coordinating transportation and itineraries for domestic, inbound, and outbound travel. The role involves advising clients on destinations, visa and documentation requirements, and travel insurance, while ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards. The Senior Travel Specialist will liaise with airlines, hotels, and tour operators, handle changes and cancellations, and resolve issues to maintain customer satisfaction. Additional responsibilities include mentoring junior staff, contributing to process improvements, and supporting sales and promotional activities.QualificationsStrong expertise in travel planning and itinerary design for domestic, inbound, and outbound tourism.Proficiency in using reservation systems and travel booking platforms (e.g., GDS, online booking engines).Solid knowledge of visa requirements, travel regulations, and documentation processes.Excellent customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.Experience in negotiating rates and coordinating with airlines, hotels, and tour operators.Ability to manage multiple bookings, prioritize tasks, and maintain attention to detail under time pressure.Previous experience in a senior travel consultant or specialist role, preferably in an agency or tour operator environment.Good command of English and Arabic, both written and spoken; additional languages are an advantage.Comfort working on-site in Heliopolis as part of a collaborative, customer-focused team.Relevant educational background in tourism, hospitality, business, or a related field is preferred.
