Requirements
The role requires coordination, management, and execution of IP and Transport service & resource configuration, operations & maintenance activities. Responsibilities include 2nd Level Incident management, Fault and KPI Troubleshooting, Preventive Maintenance, service/resource configuration data changes implementation, and Software Deployment of IP & Transport nodes updates/upgrades. Experience with specific vendor routers and firewalls (Ericsson R6000, Juniper M120/M103/M320/MX480/MX960) is essential, along with deep knowledge in IP-MPLS network configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting, IP routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, MPLS, RSVP), DWDM, SONET/SDH, Ethernet transport, redundancy protocols (HSRP, VRRP, BFD), microwave, optical, IPRAN networks, EVPN, BGP, ISIS, OSPF, MPLS TE/FRR/VPN, and 2G, 4G, 5G network architecture. A degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering is required, along with 5-10 years of experience in the Transport domain and knowledge of Managed Service telecom operations practices.
