Role overview
The successful candidate will work within a collaborative, multidisciplinary clinical environment supported by experienced consultants, nurses, allied health professionals and modern diagnostic and treatment infrastructure.
Key responsibilities
Assess and manage surgical conditions in neonates, infants, children and adolescents.
Perform pediatric general, neonatal, minimally invasive and emergency procedures according to scope and privileges.
Coordinate care with neonatology, pediatrics, ICU, anaesthesia, radiology and pediatric subspecialists.
Provide family-centred counselling on diagnosis, surgical options, risks and recovery.
Manage postoperative follow-up, complications, nutrition and developmental considerations.
Maintain child-safe surgical governance, consent, documentation and UAE regulatory compliance.
