Requirements
  • 8–12 years of experience in import, export, cross-trade, and local logistics operations.

  • Strong knowledge of international shipping procedures, Incoterms, and Letter of Credit (LC) requirements.

  • Experience in handling export, import, and cross-trade shipments from order processing through final delivery.

  • Ability to negotiate freight rates with shipping lines, freight forwarders, and transport companies.

  • Experience in preparing and reviewing shipping documentation in accordance with LC terms and international trade requirements.

  • Knowledge of obtaining import/export permits and coordinating customs clearance activities.

  • Experience coordinating third-party inspections (SGS, Bureau Veritas, or equivalent).

  • Ability to verify freight and transportation invoices and ensure timely payment processing.

  • Strong coordination skills with customers, suppliers, freight forwarders, customs authorities, shipping lines, and internal departments.

  • Experience supporting local sales logistics, customer KYC documentation, and inventory/fund tracking.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (especially Excel) and ERP systems.

  • Experience in trading, manufacturing, or international commodity businesses.

  • Familiarity with UAE customs regulations, Ministry permit procedures, and GCC logistics practices.

  • Knowledge of supply chain best practices and freight optimization.

  • Certifications (if any):

    • Professional certification in Logistics or Supply Chain Management (preferred).

    • Knowledge of Incoterms and International Trade Documentation.

    • Knowledge of Letter of Credit (LC) documentation and compliance.
