8–12 years of experience in import, export, cross-trade, and local logistics operations.
Strong knowledge of international shipping procedures, Incoterms, and Letter of Credit (LC) requirements.
Experience in handling export, import, and cross-trade shipments from order processing through final delivery.
Ability to negotiate freight rates with shipping lines, freight forwarders, and transport companies.
Experience in preparing and reviewing shipping documentation in accordance with LC terms and international trade requirements.
Knowledge of obtaining import/export permits and coordinating customs clearance activities.
Experience coordinating third-party inspections (SGS, Bureau Veritas, or equivalent).
Ability to verify freight and transportation invoices and ensure timely payment processing.
Strong coordination skills with customers, suppliers, freight forwarders, customs authorities, shipping lines, and internal departments.
Experience supporting local sales logistics, customer KYC documentation, and inventory/fund tracking.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (especially Excel) and ERP systems.
Experience in trading, manufacturing, or international commodity businesses.
Familiarity with UAE customs regulations, Ministry permit procedures, and GCC logistics practices.
Knowledge of supply chain best practices and freight optimization.
Certifications (if any):
Professional certification in Logistics or Supply Chain Management (preferred).
