We are seeking a highly qualified western-trained board certified Family Medicine physician to join a leading healthcare facility in Dubai. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive, patient-centered primary healthcare services to individuals and families of all ages. The physician will be responsible for the prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and long-term management of acute and chronic medical conditions while promoting preventive care and wellness in accordance with international clinical standards.
Key responsibilities
Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care services for patients of all age groups.
Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions using evidence-based clinical practice.
Conduct routine health assessments, annual physical examinations, preventive screenings, and health risk evaluations.
Develop individualized treatment plans and ensure continuity of care through regular follow-up.
Manage chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, asthma, dyslipidemia, and cardiovascular risk factors.
Provide preventive healthcare services, including immunizations, health education, lifestyle counseling, and disease prevention programs.
Interpret laboratory investigations, diagnostic imaging, and other clinical tests to guide patient management.
Perform minor office-based procedures within the scope of Family Medicine practice.
Coordinate patient care with specialists and allied healthcare professionals when referrals are required.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation using electronic medical records (EMR).
Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, quality improvement initiatives, clinical audits, and continuing medical education (CME).
Ensure compliance with Dubai Health Authority (DHA) regulations, hospital policies, and international clinical guidelines.
Deliver compassionate, culturally sensitive, and patient-focused care while maintaining the highest ethical and professional standards.
Requirements
Qualifications
MBBS or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution.
Completion of accredited postgraduate training in Family Medicine.
Board certification in Family Medicine from one of the following or an equivalent internationally recognized board:
American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM)
Canadian College of Family Physicians (CCFP)
UK Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) with GMC Specialist Registration
Australian Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP)
Fellowship of the Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners (FRNZCGP)
Irish College of General Practitioners (MICGP)
Western training is mandatory.
Valid DHA license or DHA eligibility letter is preferred.
Minimum 5 years of post-board certification clinical experience in Family Medicine is preferred.
Strong clinical judgment, diagnostic, and patient management skills.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient counseling abilities.
Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Fluency in English is mandatory; additional languages such as Arabic are an advantage.
