We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced specialist family medicine physician to join a leading healthcare facility.
The successful candidate will provide comprehensive primary and preventive healthcare to patients of all age groups, manage acute and chronic medical conditions, and establish long-term relationships with patients and families.
Key responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive consultations, physical examinations, and health assessments.
Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions across all age groups.
Manage common conditions including diabetes, hypertension, asthma, dyslipidemia, thyroid disorders, respiratory infections, and gastrointestinal conditions.
Provide preventive healthcare, routine health screening, vaccination counseling, and wellness consultations.
Monitor and manage patients with chronic diseases through regular follow-up.
Provide lifestyle counseling related to nutrition, exercise, weight management, and smoking cessation.
Evaluate laboratory investigations, ECGs, imaging reports, and other diagnostic results.
Identify patients requiring specialist intervention and coordinate appropriate referrals.
Provide basic urgent and minor emergency care within the scope of practice.
Manage common women's health, men's health, adolescent health, and geriatric care needs.
Provide patient and family education regarding disease prevention, treatment plans, and medication adherence.
Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records.
Collaborate with specialists, nurses, pharmacists, and allied healthcare professionals.
Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, multidisciplinary meetings, and continuing medical education (CME).
Ensure compliance with relevant healthcare authority regulations, hospital policies, infection control standards, and patient safety protocols.
Participate in on-call duties where required.
