Your role
Provide comprehensive primary care consultations for adults, adolescents, and children.
Assess patients presenting with new, undifferentiated, and ongoing health concerns.
Diagnose and manage acute illnesses as well as chronic medical conditions.
Develop personalized treatment and follow-up plans based on individual patient needs.
Provide preventive healthcare, routine health assessments, and risk-factor screening.
Monitor patients with diabetes, hypertension, dyslipidemia, obesity, asthma, thyroid disorders, and other common chronic conditions.
Provide lifestyle counseling covering nutrition, exercise, smoking cessation, weight management, and general wellness.
Assess common minor illnesses and conditions that can be managed within primary care.
Recognize red-flag symptoms and arrange timely referral to appropriate specialists or emergency services.
Review and interpret laboratory investigations, ECGs, imaging, and other diagnostic reports.
Provide appropriate health education to patients and families.
Coordinate continuity of care for patients requiring specialist consultation or hospital-based treatment.
Maintain accurate and confidential electronic medical records.
Ensure appropriate prescribing, medication review, and monitoring of treatment response.
Participate in vaccination, screening, preventive medicine, and health-promotion initiatives.
Work collaboratively with nurses, specialists, pharmacists, and allied healthcare professionals.
Participate in clinical meetings, audits, quality improvement, and patient-safety activities.
Follow applicable Oman healthcare regulations, professional standards, clinical guidelines, and organizational policies.
Requirements
