Job description
A reputable and well-established pharmaceutical company is actively recruiting a commercial director for their Dubai office, with regular travel across the GCC required.

Main responsibilities
Lead commercial strategy and drive business growth across the GCC region.
Own commercial P&L performance, including revenue targets, budgeting, forecasting and profitability.
Identify and develop new business opportunities, partnerships and revenue streams.
Lead major commercial negotiations and maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities.
Analyse market performance and implement strategies to maximise ROI across products, markets and accounts.
Develop and strengthen brand positioning and commercial presence across the region.
Lead, coach and develop commercial and sales teams with a focus on sustainable growth and profitability.
Provide commercial insights and performance updates to executive leadership.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or a related field; MBA is preferred.
Minimum 12 years’ senior commercial leadership experience within the pharmaceutical industry.
Strong and recent UAE/GCC market experience is essential.
Proven experience managing full P&L responsibility across multiple markets.
Strong understanding of GCC market dynamics, procurement practices and regulatory environments.
Demonstrated success in developing new revenue streams and delivering measurable commercial results.
Established GCC business network and strong stakeholder management skills.
Fluency in English required; Arabic language skills are highly preferred.
