Position: Consultant / Specialist Neurosurgeon
Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Hospital type: Private / Government / Multispecialty / Tertiary care (JCI-accredited)
Experience required: Minimum 3–5+ years post board certification
Clinical scope: Brain surgery, spine surgery, neurotrauma, and minimally invasive neurosurgical procedures
The successful candidate will provide comprehensive neurosurgical care, working alongside neurologists, intensivists, and rehabilitation specialists.
Key responsibilities
Diagnose and surgically manage brain, spine, and peripheral nervous system disorders
Perform cranial surgeries, spine surgeries, tumor resections, and neurotrauma procedures
Conduct minimally invasive and image-guided neurosurgical interventions
Manage complex neurological conditions, including brain tumors, vascular malformations, and spinal disorders
Provide pre-operative evaluation and post-operative care, including ICU coordination
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including neurology, oncology, radiology, and rehabilitation
Participate in emergency neurosurgical services and on-call rotations
Ensure adherence to clinical governance, patient safety, and international surgical protocols
Contribute to clinical audits, research, and continuous medical education
Mentor junior doctors and surgical trainees
