Position overview
We are welcoming expressions of interest from outstanding Early Years Teachers interested in joining GEMS International School – Dubai Hills from August 2027.
We welcome experienced IB educators as well as outstanding teachers from British and other international curricula who are passionate about inquiry-led learning and inspiring confident, curious learners.

Successful candidate
A recognised teaching qualification at degree level, such as a B.Ed, PGCE, State Teaching License or equivalent, with appropriate Early Years teaching credentials.
A minimum of three years' successful experience teaching within the Early Years phase, ideally including the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP), although IB experience is preferred rather than essential.
A strong understanding of effective Early Years pedagogy and child-centred learning.
Experience or confidence in delivering inquiry-based, concept-driven learning.
A passion for inspiring curiosity and developing confident, independent and globally minded learners.
Excellent communication, collaboration and classroom management skills.
