Position details
Role: Classroom Teacher
Phase: Primary School
Curriculum: IB Primary Years Programme (PYP), with English National Curriculum objectives embedded throughout the school.
Key responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons that meet the needs of all learners.
Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment.
Use assessment effectively to drive progress and raise attainment in core subjects.
Support students’ academic, social, and emotional development in line with IB PYP principles.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to continuously improve teaching and learning.
Qualifications
Essential:
Bachelor’s degree in education or related field.
Minimum of 3 years teaching experience at the elementary/primary level.
Strong classroom management skills.
Proven ability to accelerate student progress.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Desirable:
Experience of the IB Primary Years Programme.
Experience of the English National Curriculum.
