Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field. 8-12+ years of experience in HSE, preferably within railway, transportation, infrastructure, construction, or other high-risk industries. Proven experience in HSE management and leadership, with responsibility for developing and implementing HSE systems and procedures. Strong experience in risk assessment, hazard identification, incident investigation, emergency preparedness, and crisis management. Experience conducting and managing HSE audits, inspections, and compliance programs. Strong knowledge of Railway Safety / Railway Assurance, including Safety Cases, RAMS, risk assessments, and hazard logs. Experience with EN 50126, EN 50128, and EN 50129 is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of ISO 45001 and HSE management systems. Experience managing HSE teams, contractors, and multiple stakeholders. ISO 45001 Lead Auditor / Internal Auditor certification or equivalent. Training/certification in EN 50126, EN 50128, and EN 50129 is an advantage. Strong knowledge of Egyptian HSE laws, regulations, and relevant international safety standards. Excellent leadership, communication, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural, and start-up environment. Excellent command of English and Arabic, both written and spoken. Proficient in MS Office and relevant HSE/IT systems.
