Requirements
Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or related field.Minimum 7–10 years of HSE experience, with at least 3–5 years in a managerial role within the chemical or process manufacturing industry.Strong knowledge of HSE regulations, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and other relevant standards.Experience in risk assessment, incident investigation, and emergency response planning.Excellent leadership, communication, and training skills.

Job scope:The HSE Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining health, safety, and environmental management systems to ensure compliance with local regulations, international standards, and company policies. The role focuses on safeguarding employees, assets, and the environment while promoting a strong safety culture within the manufacturing operations.Responsibilities:Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies, procedures, and programs in line with legal requirements and industry best practices.Ensure compliance with national and international HSE regulations relevant to the chemical and intermediate manufacturing industry.Conduct risk assessment and job safety analyses to identify and mitigate potential hazards.Lead incident/accident investigations, prepare reports, and recommend corrective/preventive measures.Oversee waste management, pollution prevention, and environmental sustainability programs.Organize HSE training, awareness sessions, and emergency response drills for all staff.Monitor and evaluate workplace conditions, ensuring proper use of PPE and safety equipment.Prepare and submit HSE performance reports, KPIs, and regulatory documentation.Liaise with regulatory authorities, certification bodies, and external auditors during inspections and audits.Foster a culture of continuous improvement in health, safety, and environmental performance.
