We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Specialist Otorhinolaryngology (ENT) – Head and Neck Surgery to join leading healthcare providers in Dubai and Sharjah, UAE. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive medical and surgical care for patients with disorders of the ear, nose, throat, head, and neck while delivering exceptional patient-centered care in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
Key responsibilities
Diagnose and manage a broad spectrum of ENT and head & neck conditions in both adult and pediatric patients.
Perform comprehensive ENT evaluations, including nasal endoscopy, laryngoscopy, otoscopy, audiological assessments, and interpretation of imaging studies.
Perform ENT surgical procedures within the scope of practice, including:
Tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy
Septoplasty
Functional endoscopic sinus surgery (FESS)
Tympanoplasty and myringoplasty
Myringotomy with ventilation tube insertion
Excision of head and neck lesions
Salivary gland and thyroid procedures (where credentialed)
Diagnose and manage hearing loss, vertigo, tinnitus, sinus disorders, allergic rhinitis, sleep-disordered breathing, voice disorders, and head & neck infections.
Develop individualized treatment plans and provide comprehensive pre-operative and post-operative care.
Collaborate with audiologists, speech therapists, radiologists, oncologists, maxillofacial surgeons, pediatricians, and other specialists to provide multidisciplinary care.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation in accordance with DHA/MOH regulations and hospital policies.
Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, research, and continuing medical education (CME).
Mentor junior physicians and contribute to departmental education and service development.
Qualifications & requirements
MBBS/MD or equivalent medical qualification.
Board certification, fellowship, Arab Board, or equivalent recognized specialist qualification in Otorhinolaryngology (ENT) / Head and Neck Surgery.
Minimum 3–5 years of post-specialization experience as a specialist ENT physician.
Eligibility for or possession of a Dubai Health Authority (DHA) license for Dubai and/or MOH license for Sharjah.
Strong expertise in both medical and surgical management of ENT disorders.
Excellent communication, clinical decision-making, and interpersonal skills.
Commitment to delivering high-quality, evidence-based, patient-centered care.
Preferred candidate profile
Experience working in internationally accredited hospitals or multispecialty medical centers.
UAE or GCC experience is preferred but not mandatory.
Fellowship or additional expertise in Rhinology, Otology, Laryngology, Pediatric ENT, Head & Neck Oncology, or Skull Base Surgery is an added advantage.
