The successful candidate will diagnose, treat, and manage a wide range of disorders affecting the ear, nose, throat, head, and neck in both adult and pediatric patients. The ENT specialist will provide outpatient consultations, perform surgical procedures within their clinical privileges, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. Key responsibilities Diagnose and treat diseases and disorders of the ear, nose, throat, head, and neck. Conduct comprehensive ENT examinations and develop individualized treatment plans. Perform outpatient and inpatient ENT procedures and surgeries according to clinical privileges. Manage conditions including hearing loss, sinusitis, allergic rhinitis, tonsillitis, sleep apnea, vertigo, thyroid disorders, voice disorders, nasal polyps, head and neck infections, and tumors. Interpret diagnostic investigations including audiometry, endoscopy, CT scans, MRI, and other relevant imaging. Perform procedures such as nasal endoscopy, laryngoscopy, tonsillectomy, adenoidectomy, septoplasty, functional endoscopic sinus surgery (FESS), tympanoplasty, myringotomy, and other ENT surgeries as credentialed. Provide emergency ENT care and participate in on-call duties as required. Collaborate with audiologists, speech therapists, pediatricians, oncologists, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals. Educate patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment options, postoperative care, and preventive measures. Maintain accurate and timely medical records in accordance with hospital policies and healthcare regulations. Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, multidisciplinary meetings, and continuing medical education (CME). Requirements Qualifications MBBS or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution. MS/DNB in ENT (Otorhinolaryngology) or equivalent recognized postgraduate qualification. Valid specialist license, or eligibility for licensure. Minimum 3–5 years of post-specialty experience as an ENT specialist. Fellowship training in Otology, Rhinology, Head & Neck Surgery, Pediatric ENT, or Laryngology is an added advantage. Required skills Strong clinical expertise in diagnosing and managing ENT disorders. Proficiency in performing ENT diagnostic and surgical procedures. Excellent communication and patient counseling skills. Strong clinical decision-making and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team. Commitment to evidence-based practice, patient safety, and continuous professional development. Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
