Requirements
A systems leader, 15+ years in, who has held all three parts of the cycle — direction, delivery, and operation — and can show it. You have taken enterprise platforms from selection to steady state more than once; SAP S/4HANA is strongly preferred, and fluency across the Microsoft stack (M365, SharePoint, Power Platform, Power BI) is expected. You have managed managers, governed vendors under pressure, and can carry a technical position into an executive room in plain business language. A relevant degree is required; experience in construction, engineering, or another asset-heavy multi-site industry helps.
Description
A large engineering group is rebuilding how it runs on information — ERP, business applications, and analytics — and is hiring the leader who will own that cycle in full. Not an advisory seat and not a delivery-only seat: one accountable owner from systems decision through implementation into daily operation, backed by executive commitment and real investment. The mandate: decide, deliver, runDecide. You set the systems direction — which platforms, which solutions, which partners, in what sequence. You maintain the roadmap the executive team invests against, and you are expected to bring a view, defend it, and be right often.Deliver. You lead major implementations across ERP, business applications, and the BI/data stack — scoping, configuration, rollout, adoption — and you direct the external partners doing the build, with the depth to verify their work rather than take it on trust.Run. You operate what you deliver: licensing, access, master data, support, and the daily discipline that keeps business-critical platforms dependable for a workforce of thousands spread across a head office and dozens of operating locations.
