Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering; Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering is preferred.Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in the Ready-Mix Concrete industry.Strong experience in Ready-Mix Plant Management and Operations.Previous experience with major Ready-Mix Concrete companies such as Lafarge, Holcim, Heidelberg Materials, or equivalent leading organizations is highly preferred.Demonstrated experience managing large production operations and multidisciplinary teams.Strong knowledge of concrete production, mix designs, quality standards, plant equipment, and fleet operations.Strong understanding of maintenance, cost control, productivity improvement, and operational KPIs.Excellent leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Strong decision-making ability and the capability to work effectively under pressure.Good command of Microsoft Office and relevant plant/ERP management systems.Key SkillsReady-Mix Concrete | Plant Management | Production Management | Operations Management | Concrete Technology | Quality Control | Fleet Management | Equipment Management | Maintenance | Cost Control | KPI Management | HSE | Team Leadership | Operational ExcellenceExperience with major Ready-Mix companies is highly preferred

About the RoleWe are looking for a highly experienced and results-driven Ready-Mix Concrete Plant Manager to lead the operations of a major Ready-Mix Concrete Plant in Hurghada.The ideal candidate will have 15+ years of solid experience in the Ready-Mix Concrete industry, with a strong track record in plant management, production, quality control, fleet coordination, maintenance, cost optimization, and team leadership.Experience with leading Ready-Mix companies such as Lafarge, Holcim, Heidelberg Materials, or other major Ready-Mix Concrete companies is highly preferred.This is a key leadership position for an experienced professional who can ensure safe, efficient, cost-effective, and high-quality plant operations while maintaining excellent service levels for major construction projects and clients.Key ResponsibilitiesPlant & Operations ManagementTake full responsibility for the overall operation and performance of the Ready-Mix Concrete Plant.Plan, organize, and supervise daily production activities based on project requirements and customer demand.Ensure maximum plant utilization, production efficiency, and operational continuity.Monitor production capacity and ensure timely concrete delivery to projects.Identify operational bottlenecks and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime.Production & QualityEnsure all concrete production complies with approved mix designs, specifications, standards, and customer requirements.Coordinate closely with the Quality Control and Laboratory teams to maintain consistent concrete quality.Monitor production performance, concrete consumption, material usage, and production losses.Ensure proper handling, storage, and availability of cement, aggregates, admixtures, and other raw materials.Fleet & Equipment ManagementSupervise the operation and availability of Transit Mixers, Concrete Pumps, Batching Plants, Loaders, and related equipment.Coordinate with the Maintenance Department to ensure effective preventive and corrective maintenance programs.Minimize equipment breakdowns and operational downtime.Monitor fleet utilization, fuel consumption, maintenance costs, and overall equipment efficiency.Cost & Performance ManagementMonitor plant operating costs and implement initiatives to reduce costs and minimize waste.Track key operational KPIs and take corrective actions when required.Prepare and analyze periodic reports covering production, quality, maintenance, fleet, costs, productivity, and plant performance.Contribute to improving plant profitability and overall business performance.Team LeadershipLead and manage a multidisciplinary team of Engineers, Technicians, Plant Operators, Drivers, and Support Staff.Set clear performance objectives and ensure effective workforce utilization.Develop and motivate team members and ensure proper training and competency development.Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.HSE & ComplianceEnsure strict implementation of Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) policies and procedures.Maintain a safe working environment across all plant operations.Ensure compliance with applicable environmental, safety, and operational regulations.Conduct regular inspections and ensure corrective actions are implemented promptly.Coordination & Customer ServiceCoordinate effectively with Project Management, Site Operations, Sales, Logistics, Procurement, Quality Control, and Maintenance teams.Ensure concrete orders are produced and delivered according to agreed schedules.Support the resolution of customer and project-related operational issues.Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and service reliability.
