A minimum of 3 years in a senior management or department head role is required, with specific experience managing multi-site Hard Services or MEP operations in the UAE or GCC. Essential skills include strong technical knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical systems, and BMS, as well as experience in technical estimation, tendering, BOQ preparation, and project mobilization. Knowledge of UAE HSE and statutory requirements, along with strong leadership, communication, client-management, and problem-solving abilities, are crucial.

We are looking for an experienced Head of Hard Services – Facilities Management (MEP) to oversee technical operations across multiple branches, projects, and client sites in the UAE. The role will be based at our Abu Dhabi headquarters and will be responsible for managing Hard Services operations, maintenance performance, technical teams, client requirements, cost control, and compliance. Key ResponsibilitiesOversee planned preventive maintenance (PPM) activities in line with approved schedules and contractual requirements.Manage corrective maintenance activities and ensure timely response to technical issues.Monitor equipment performance, asset reliability, and recurring maintenance issues.Conduct technical site inspections and audits and follow up on identified observations.Monitor CAFM records, maintenance activities, and technical reports.Handle technical escalations and coordinate with clients to resolve service-related issues.Plan technical manpower requirements in coordination with the HR team.Support recruitment, training, competency development, and performance management of technical personnel.Monitor operational costs, including overtime, spare parts, consumables, and subcontractor expenses.Review technical requirements for tenders, prepare or review cost estimates and BOQs, and support project mobilization activities.Ensure compliance with applicable UAE HSE, statutory maintenance, permit, and documentation requirements.Manage engineers, supervisors, technicians, and subcontractors across multiple locations.Prepare and review technical and operational reports for management.Identify opportunities to improve maintenance processes, service quality, and operational efficiency.RequirementsMinimum 8 years of relevant experience in Facilities Management, MEP, Hard Services, or Technical Operations.Minimum 3 years of experience in a senior management or department head position.Experience managing multi-site Hard Services or MEP operations in the UAE or GCC.Experience in technical estimation, tendering, BOQ preparation, and project mobilization.Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical systems, and BMS.Experience managing engineers, supervisors, technicians, and subcontractors.Knowledge of applicable UAE statutory, regulatory, and HSE requirements.Strong leadership, communication, client-management, and problem-solving skills.Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related technical discipline.What We OfferUAE employment visa sponsorship for the selected candidate.Compensation based on experience and qualifications.A senior-level role within the Hard Services function.Opportunity to work across multiple UAE locations and client sites.Direct coordination with senior management.Delight International Facilities Management provides equal employment opportunities to qualified candidates.
