Job SummaryThe HSE Engineer provides technical HSE oversight and coordination across the project, developing HSE management plans, leading investigations, and ensuring regulatory and client compliance across all work fronts.Core Responsibilities●Develop and implement project-specific HSE Management Plans aligned with client and authority requirements.●Coordinate HSE activities across multiple subcontractors and work fronts.●Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis (RCA), driving corrective action closure.●Conduct HSE audits and inspections, tracking close-out of non-conformances.●Supervise and mentor HSE Officers and Inspectors on site.●Liaise with regulatory authorities (Municipality, Civil Defence, OSHAD, ADNOC, etc.) for approvals and compliance.●Prepare monthly HSE performance reports and KPIs for management and client review.●Support ISO 45001/14001 management system implementation and internal audits.Industry Context: Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing installation works across commercial and residential developments.Industry-Specific Focus Areas (in addition to Core Responsibilities above):●Permit-to-Work compliance for hot works, electrical isolation (LOTO), and confined space entry (risers/shafts).●Safety oversight for working at height during ducting, cable tray, and pipework installation.●Coordination of MEP-specific hazards with civil/structural work fronts to avoid interface risk.RequirementsRequirementsCriteriaRequirementAgeBelow 45 yearsGCC Experience (Min.)10+ YearsAcademicsBachelor's Degree; Engineering Degree preferredProfessional QualificationsNEBOSH IGC | Level 6 or 7 in OSH | ISO 45001 Lead Auditor Certification | ADOSH-SF Senior Practitioner
