Title:Projects Interface Manager - UZ Brownfield - Offshore Water Injection ProjectJob Title: Projects Interface Manager - UZ Brownfield - Offshore Water Injection ProjectKBR Abu Dhabi PMC Team is currently looking to fill a position of Projects Interface Manager - UZ Brownfield for an Offshore Water Injection Project to be based in UAE (Abu Dhabi) as soon as the administrative processes are completed, will then relocate to Spain Office and then return to Abu Dhabi. Position SummaryThe Projects Interface Manager is responsible for managing all project interfaces associated with the UZ Brownfield Offshore Water Injection Project. The role ensures effective coordination between offshore and onshore facilities, operations teams, EPC contractors, vendors, and stakeholders to facilitate safe and efficient integration of new water injection infrastructure into existing producing assets.The position is critical to minimizing operational disruptions, managing technical and organizational interfaces, and ensuring successful execution of brownfield modifications, tie-ins, shutdown activities, and commissioning.Key ResponsibilitiesInterface ManagementDevelop, implement, and maintain the Project Interface Management Plan.Identify, track, and manage all internal and external project interfaces.Establish and maintain interface registers and action tracking systems.Ensure timely resolution of interface issues impacting project execution.Brownfield IntegrationCoordinate integration of new water injection facilities with existing offshore production assets.Manage brownfield engineering, tie-in, shutdown, and operational interfaces.Collaborate with asset operations teams to align project activities with production requirements.Facilitate access, isolation, SIMOPS, and operational readiness planning.Stakeholder CoordinationAct as the primary focal point between project teams, operations, engineering, construction, commissioning, and contractors.Coordinate with ADNOC Offshore and other key stakeholders on interface matters.Lead interface meetings, workshops, and review sessions.Ensure effective communication across all project disciplines and organizations.Project Execution SupportSupport Project Managers and Engineering Managers in identifying interface-related risks.Monitor interface deliverables and ensure alignment with project schedules.Work closely with planning teams to assess the impact of interface activities on critical project milestones.Facilitate resolution of schedule conflicts and resource constraints.Risk and Change ManagementIdentify, assess, and mitigate interface risks.Support management of change (MOC) processes associated with brownfield modifications.Escalate unresolved interface concerns to project leadership.Ensure lessons learned are captured and implemented.Commissioning and Start-Up SupportCoordinate interfaces between construction, commissioning, operations, and start-up teams.Ensure operational handover requirements are clearly identified and achieved.Support development and execution of commissioning and start-up plans.Facilitate readiness reviews and handover activities.QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related technical discipline.Professional project management certification (PMP, PMI, Prince2) is advantageous.Interface Management certification or experience is preferred.ExperienceMinimum 20-25 years of experience in offshore oil and gas projects.Proven experience in brownfield project execution and offshore modifications.Significant experience managing interfaces on EPC/EPCM projects.Experience with offshore water injection, production facilities, and utility systems.Strong knowledge of shutdown planning, tie-ins, and SIMOPS management.Previous ADNOC Offshore or Middle East offshore project experience is highly desirable.
