Title:Senior Project Controls Manager - Offshore Water Injection ProjectJob Title: Senior Project Controls Manager - Offshore Water Injection ProjectKBR Abu Dhabi PMC Team is currently looking to fill a position of Senior Project Controls Manager for an Offshore Water Injection Project to be based in UAE (Abu Dhabi) as soon as the administrative processes are completed, will then relocate to Spain Office and then return to Abu Dhabi. Position SummaryThe Senior Project Controls Manager is responsible for leading all project controls activities for a major offshore water injection development project, ensuring effective planning, scheduling, cost control, progress measurement, risk management, forecasting, and reporting throughout the project lifecycle. The role provides strategic oversight to support safe, timely, and cost-effective project delivery while coordinating with project management, engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and client stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesProject Planning & SchedulingDevelop and maintain integrated Level 1-4 project schedules using Primavera P6.Establish project baselines, milestones, and critical path analyses.Monitor schedule performance and identify delays, risks, and recovery opportunities.Lead schedule reviews and progress assessment meetings.Cost Management & ControlDevelop project control budgets and cost management frameworks.Monitor expenditures, commitments, forecasts, and cash flow.Analyze cost variances and recommend corrective actions.Manage earned value management (EVM) processes and reporting.Progress Measurement & ReportingEstablish project KPIs and performance measurement systems.Consolidate engineering, procurement, fabrication, offshore installation, and commissioning progress.Prepare weekly and monthly project performance reports for senior management and stakeholders.Provide executive dashboards highlighting project status and forecasts.Risk & Change ManagementLead project risk identification, assessment, and mitigation activities.Manage change control processes and evaluate schedule/cost impacts.Support claims avoidance and dispute resolution through accurate project records.Team LeadershipLead multidisciplinary project controls teams including planners, cost engineers, risk analysts, and reporting specialists.Mentor and develop project controls personnel.Ensure alignment of project controls procedures with company standards and client requirements.Stakeholder ManagementInterface with project directors, EPC contractors, vendors, and client representatives.Present project performance updates to executive leadership.Support management decision-making through data-driven analysis and forecasting.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field.Minimum 18-25 years of project controls experience within major Oil & Gas, Offshore, EPC, or Energy projects.Extensive experience on offshore development, water injection, brownfield, or subsea projects.Strong expertise in Primavera P6, cost management systems, and project reporting tools.Knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM), risk management, and change control processes.Professional certifications such as PMP, PMI-SP, AACE CCP, or equivalent are advantageous.Key SkillsProject Planning & SchedulingCost Control & ForecastingEarned Value Management (EVM)Risk & Opportunity ManagementChange ManagementOffshore EPC Project DeliveryExecutive ReportingStakeholder ManagementTeam LeadershipPrimavera P6 and Power BI
