Title:Engineering Manager UZ Islands - Greenfield - Offshore Water Injection ProjectJob Title: Engineering Manager UZ Islands - Greenfield - Offshore Water Injection ProjectKBR Abu Dhabi PMC Team is currently looking to fill a position of Engineering Manager UZ Islands - Greenfield for an Offshore Water Injection Project to be based in UAE (Abu Dhabi) as soon as the administrative processes are completed, will then relocate to Spain Office and then return to Abu Dhabi. Position SummaryThe Engineering Manager is responsible for leading and coordinating all engineering activities for the UZ Islands Greenfield Offshore Water Injection Project, ensuring safe, cost-effective, and timely delivery from concept through detailed design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover. The role provides technical leadership across multidisciplinary teams and serves as the primary engineering interface with the client, contractors, and project stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesEngineering LeadershipManage and coordinate all engineering disciplines including Process, Mechanical, Piping, Structural, Civil, Electrical, Instrumentation, Telecom, and HSE.Establish engineering execution plans, schedules, and resource requirements.Ensure engineering deliverables meet project objectives, client specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.Lead engineering design reviews, HAZID, HAZOP, SIL, constructability, and operability studies.Project Management SupportWork closely with the Project Director and Project Manager to achieve project milestones.Monitor engineering progress and identify risks, opportunities, and mitigation measures.Support project budgeting, forecasting, and change management processes.Review and approve contractor and vendor engineering deliverables.Stakeholder ManagementAct as the principal engineering focal point for the client and external stakeholders.Coordinate interfaces between offshore facilities, subsea systems, water injection packages, utilities, and supporting infrastructure.Facilitate alignment between engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams.Technical AssuranceEnsure compliance with international offshore oil and gas standards (API, ASME, IEC, DNV, ISO, etc.).Drive engineering quality assurance and technical governance processes.Review technical queries, deviations, concessions, and engineering change requests.Support commissioning, start-up, and operational readiness activities.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or related discipline).Master's degree preferred.Chartered Engineer or equivalent professional certification is advantageous.Experience20-25+ years of oil and gas experience with major offshore EPC/EPCM projects.Proven experience as Engineering Manager on offshore greenfield developments.Strong background in offshore water injection, produced water handling, and brownfield interfaces.Experience managing multidisciplinary engineering teams across international locations.Familiarity with ADNOC, Middle East, or Caspian offshore projects is highly desirable
