Eligibility & Board Recognition:American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN)UK CCT / GMC Specialist RegisterEuropean Board CertificationCanadian / Australian FellowshipArab Board / FCPS / MD PsychiatryMinimum 3–5+ years post-board experience preferredDHA License eligibility or active license is an advantageKey ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments, including mental status examinations, risk evaluations, and diagnostic assessmentsDiagnose and manage a wide range of psychiatric conditions, including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, psychotic disorders, personality disorders, and substance use disordersDevelop and implement individualized treatment plans incorporating both pharmacological and psychotherapeutic approachesProvide crisis intervention and acute psychiatric care when requiredCollaborate with psychologists, counselors, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated patient careMonitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans and medications, and ensure optimal clinical outcomesMaintain accurate, detailed, and compliant clinical documentation in accordance with DHA and international standardsEducate patients and their families on mental health conditions, treatment options, and preventive strategiesParticipate in clinical governance activities, audits, and continuous professional development initiativesContribute to service development, mental health awareness initiatives, and community outreach programs
