Role overview
As a Consultant/Specialist Psychiatrist in Dubai, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive psychiatric care across outpatient and inpatient settings, managing a wide spectrum of mental health conditions while working alongside a multidisciplinary clinical team.

Key responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments, including mental status examinations, risk evaluations, and diagnostic assessments
Diagnose and manage a wide range of psychiatric conditions, including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, psychotic disorders, personality disorders, and substance use disorders
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans incorporating both pharmacological and psychotherapeutic approaches
Provide crisis intervention and acute psychiatric care when required
Collaborate with psychologists, counselors, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated patient care
Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans and medications, and ensure optimal clinical outcomes
Maintain accurate, detailed, and compliant clinical documentation in accordance with DHA and international standards
Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions, treatment options, and preventive strategies
Participate in clinical governance activities, audits, and continuous professional development initiatives
Contribute to service development, mental health awareness initiatives, and community outreach programs
