About this role:Project Planning & SchedulingDevelop and maintain detailed project schedules (baseline and revised) for all landscaping projects using tools like Primavera P6 or MS Project.Prepare project-specific work breakdown structures (WBS) and define key milestones, deliverables, and timelines.Coordinate with project and site teams to gather inputs and ensure accurate sequencing of all design, procurement, and construction activities.Program Management & Resource PlanningCreate integrated master plans for multi-site or large-scale landscaping projects, incorporating all phases from mobilization to handover.Allocate labor, equipment, and material resources effectively, identifying requirements based on project timelines.Monitor and update schedules based on actual progress, identifying variances and implementing recovery strategies.Progress Monitoring & ReportingTrack actual vs. planned progress through regular site visits, meetings, and coordination with the execution team.Develop and submit weekly/monthly progress reports, including critical path analysis and earned value metrics.Highlight schedule deviations and prepare impact assessments for project leadership and clients.Risk Analysis & MitigationConduct time-risk analysis to identify potential delays and constraints early in the planning stage.Propose mitigation measures and recovery plans to minimize schedule impact.Maintain and update risk registers in collaboration with the project management and HSE teams.Client & Stakeholder CoordinationInterface with clients, consultants, and subcontractors for schedule approvals, updates, and reporting.Attend client progress meetings and present project planning, delays, and recovery strategies when required.Ensure alignment between contract obligations, project scope, and planning deliverables.Tender Support & Pre-Award PlanningParticipate in the bidding process by preparing preliminary programs, resource histograms, and project timelines.Review tender documents, BOQs, and specifications to develop planning inputs that support cost estimation and logistics.Support business development with planning inputs for proposals and feasibility studies.Documentation & Systems ManagementMaintain all planning documentation including baseline programs, schedule revisions, look-ahead schedules, and delay notifications.Ensure proper document control and alignment with ISO/project quality standards.Lead the implementation of planning and scheduling software and best practices across projects.Team Leadership & DevelopmentManage and mentor junior planners and planning engineers within the organization.Develop standardized planning procedures, templates, and reporting formats across all projects.Foster a culture of proactive planning, foresight, and continuous improvement in project controls.Occupational and workplace Health and Safety responsibilities:In addition to all job-specific responsibilities, all employees are required to adhere to all Basatin health, safety and environmental (HSE) policies, procedures, practices, and relevant legal and statutory health, safety and environmental requirements and obligations.
