The role is suitable for internationally trained neurosurgeons seeking career advancement, strong clinical exposure, and the opportunity to practice within a modern, quality-driven healthcare environment serving a diverse international patient population. Role overview The successful candidate will work within a collaborative, multidisciplinary clinical environment supported by experienced consultants, neurologists, radiologists, anaesthetists, nurses, allied health professionals and modern diagnostic and surgical infrastructure. Key responsibilities Assess and manage patients with neurological and neurosurgical conditions, including brain and spine disorders. Perform elective and emergency neurosurgical procedures involving the brain, spine and peripheral nervous system according to expertise and facility privileges. Manage brain tumours, spinal tumours, traumatic brain injuries, intracranial haemorrhage, hydrocephalus and degenerative spinal conditions. Perform cranial surgery, spinal surgery and minimally invasive neurosurgical procedures within the appropriate scope of practice. Review CT, MRI, angiography and other relevant neuroimaging investigations and develop appropriate treatment plans. Provide pre-operative assessment, post-operative care, complication management and long-term follow-up. Coordinate care with neurology, neuro-oncology, radiology, neuroanaesthesia, neurocritical care, emergency medicine and rehabilitation teams. Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, complex case discussions and tumour boards where applicable. Counsel patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment options, surgical risks and expected outcomes. Maintain accurate clinical documentation, informed consent, surgical records and patient safety standards. Participate in clinical governance, audit, quality improvement and infection control programmes.
