The role
The offshore construction superintendent – civil is responsible for supervising, coordinating, and monitoring all offshore civil construction activities to ensure they are executed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in full compliance with ADNOC standards, project specifications, and international codes.

Construction & supervision
Supervise offshore civil construction works including foundations, concrete works, piling, grouting, structural works, and marine-related civil activities
Ensure construction activities are executed in accordance with IFC drawings, approved procedures, and project specifications
Coordinate daily construction activities with contractors, subcontractors, marine teams, and other disciplines
Review and approve method statements, work packs, and construction procedures
HSE & quality
Enforce ADNOC HSE policies, life saving rules, and project-specific safety requirements at all times
Conduct toolbox talks, site safety inspections, and intervene immediately in unsafe acts or conditions
Ensure compliance with ADNOC QA/QC requirements and coordinate inspections, tests, and punch list closure
Planning & progress
Monitor construction progress against the approved schedule and report deviations
Support construction planning, sequencing, and offshore logistics coordination
Identify risks, constraints, and mitigation measures related to offshore civil works
Interface & coordination
Act as the PMC focal point between ADNOC, EPC contractor, marine spreads, and third parties
Coordinate civil works with structural, mechanical, piping, and E&I disciplines
Participate in construction meetings, SIMOPS coordination, and interface management
Reporting
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly offshore construction progress reports
Report issues related to safety, quality, manpower, equipment, and schedule to the construction manager

Expected
