Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Civil ,Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.• 8–10 years of proven experience in the construction industry, with a solid background in commercial management.• Strong experience in contract administration, including FIDIC or similar contract forms.• Demonstrated expertise in cost control, budgeting, and financial reporting.• Solid experience in tendering, estimation, and pricing of construction projects.• In-depth knowledge of variation orders, claims management, and dispute resolution.• Strong negotiation and communication skills with the ability to manage clients, consultants, and subcontractors.• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); experience with ERP systems is a plus.• Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines.• Strong leadership skills and ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams.
Description
Manage and administer all project contracts, ensuring compliance with contractual terms and conditions.Review, analyze, and negotiate contracts with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.Lead the commercial evaluation of tenders, including cost estimation, pricing, and risk assessment.Prepare and review Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and ensure accurate project costing.Monitor project budgets and track actual costs against planned budgets.Identify cost variances and implement corrective actions to maintain project profitability.Oversee the preparation, submission, and negotiation of client invoices and interim payment applications.Manage subcontractor payments, including verification of work completed and certification of invoices.Evaluate, price, and negotiate variation orders and change requests with clients.Ensure proper documentation and approval of all project changes and claims.Identify potential commercial risks and develop mitigation strategies.Collaborate closely with project managers, engineering teams, procurement, and finance departments.Provide regular commercial reports, including cash flow, cost analysis, and profitability forecasts.Support dispute resolution processes and manage commercial claims when necessary.
