Job description: Job PurposeEnsure warranties and insurance activities are completed as per contracts and in accordance with QatarEnergy LNG procedures to protect The Company's and shareholder interests. Key Job AccountabilitiesRepresent the Company with project contractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure proper warranty coverage is enforced for assigned projects.Review, prepare and complete the assigned insurance claims for the Company to obtain fair settlements.Develop and execute warranty procedures to ensure all contractual requirements are captured and easily followed.Coordinate and collaborate with the Operations Business Division and with other areas at QatarEnergy LNG OPCO to ensure warranty procedures and responsibilities for contractor dealings are clearly understood.Facilitate the on-time transfer of warranty ownership from the Project Management teams to the Operating Company to ensure handover is completed before Project team demobilization.Conduct trainings for other departments to ensure awareness of and compliance with the Company warranty process.Notify contractors regarding defects or deficiencies for remedy and recovery and to minimize operational risk.Implement a detailed contractor plan to remedy defects or deficiencies, mandate adherence to Company requirements and ensure on-time resolution.Liaise with various QatarEnergy LNG departments (Legal, Contracts & Finance) as required to conduct disputes resolution and recovery of company expenditures. QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering.
