Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, supply chain, or inventory management. Healthcare or hospital purchasing and supply chain experience is strongly preferred. Strong knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management, inventory control, and purchase order management. Experience with ERP systems is an advantage.

Job SummaryThe Purchasing & Supply Chain Supervisor is responsible for supervising procurement, purchasing, inventory management, and supply chain activities to ensure the timely and cost-effective availability of medical and non-medical supplies. The role oversees daily purchasing operations, supplier coordination, stock availability, and compliance with hospital procurement policies and operational requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise daily purchasing and supply chain activities, including procurement, purchase orders, inventory control, and supplier coordinationReview purchase requests, obtain quotations, evaluate suppliers, and ensure timely procurement of medical and non-medical suppliesMonitor stock levels, consumption trends, delivery schedules, and inventory requirements to prevent shortages and operational disruptionsCoordinate with Warehouse, Pharmacy, Nursing, Finance, and other hospital departments to ensure efficient supply planning and distributionMonitor supplier performance, pricing, contract compliance, and procurement costs to identify opportunities for savings and operational improvementQualificationsBachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field3+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, supply chain, or inventory managementHealthcare or hospital purchasing and supply chain experience is strongly preferredStrong knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management, inventory control, and purchase order managementExperience with ERP systems is an advantage
