Functional roles and responsibilities
To organize and deliver technical training programs aimed at equipping the technicians with relevant and updated technical expertise to improve their competence and effectiveness, hence contribute to maintaining a professional and efficient image of the After Sales Division.
Contribute to the training plan by identifying the gaps and determining the number of targeted training days and the timelines in order to meet the training objectives.
Design and present technical programs to ensure that the relevant technical training is provided and serve as a technical resource for programs that are developed and presented locally.
Conduct training programs where principals cannot deliver the on-the-job technical training to ensure internal resources are efficiently utilized.
Attend training courses conducted by the principals and coordinate with the Service Divisions to ensure timely participation of the nominated staff in the courses to gain product knowledge and skills required to perform the job.
Follow up consistently and gather feedback from the participants as well as their supervisors and managers to assess the effectiveness of training, its impact on technicians’ performance, and its cost-benefit analysis in order to provide training courses that benefit the technical staff and meet the overall business objectives of the company.
Perform skills testing of applicants to ensure that the new recruits bring in appropriate skills and caliber so they can be developed to the level of best industry practice.
