Description

Key Responsibilities:
Cold Storage Operations
• Oversee daily operations of cold storage units, ensuring temperature-sensitive inventory is stored and handled correctly.
• Monitor and maintain optimal temperature and humidity levels across all storage zones.
•  Ensure product quality and integrity through regular inspections and audits.
Technical Maintenance & Infrastructure
• Lead the breakdown response team to resolve equipment failures promptly and safely.
• Implement preventive and predictive maintenance schedules for refrigeration, electrical, and mechanical systems.
•  Supervise critical infrastructure including fire pumps, substations, HVAC systems, and backup power units.
• Approve and manage spare parts requisitions and inventory for maintenance activities.
  Compliance & Safety
• Ensure strict adherence to FSSAI, HACCP, ISO, and other food safety and regulatory standards.
•Conduct risk assessments, issue work permits, and enforce safety protocols.
• Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
•Conduct regular mock drills and manage emergency response plans.
 Reporting & Documentation
•Prepare daily cost analysis reports & Temperature monitoring reports.
 Maintain daily shift logbooks and submit detailed shift reports.
•Prepare MIS reports on breakdowns, maintenance activities, and energy usage.
•Track and analyse operational data to identify trends and drive improvements.
 Team Leadership & Coordination
•Lead and mentor technical staff and contractors, ensuring high performance and accountability.
• Delegate tasks effectively during multiple breakdowns to ensure simultaneous resolution.
• Foster a culture of teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement.
  Energy Management & Sustainability
•    Drive energy-saving initiatives and monitor energy consumption metrics.
•    Implement green technologies and sustainable practices in cold storage operations.
