The role involves ensuring that all structural works on site are executed strictly in accordance with approved IFC drawings, shop drawings, method statements, and relevant authority regulations.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out daily site inspections for all structural works, ensuring full compliance with approved IFC drawings, shop drawings, specifications, and method statements. Monitor contractor activities and verify that construction practices meet UAE authority requirements and international standards. Identify deviations or non-conformities and issue Site Observation Reports and Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) as required. Review and validate inspections related to concrete works, reinforcement, formwork, structural steel, foundations, waterproofing interfaces, and other structural elements. Coordinate closely with the project team—including engineers, architects, and specialists—to resolve structural issues and confirm that corrective actions meet project requirements. Verify that the contractor maintains proper documentation, testing, and quality records (e.g., cube tests, FDT, plate load test, calibration certificates). Ensure all works follow approved method statements, ITPs, and QA/QC procedures. Provide clear guidance to contractors to resolve site-related structural issues in a timely manner. Maintain organized and accurate inspection records with photographs, comments, and compliance notes.
