Candidates with expertise in Adult Psychiatry, Clinical Psychiatry, Psychopharmacology, and comprehensive mental health care are encouraged to apply.Role OverviewThe successful candidate will provide consultant-level Psychiatry and Mental Health services within a multidisciplinary clinical environment supported by psychiatrists, psychologists, psychiatric nurses, therapists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals.The role involves comprehensive psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and long-term management of patients presenting with a broad range of mental health and behavioural health conditions across outpatient and inpatient settings.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments, including psychiatric history, mental status examination, clinical evaluation, and risk assessment.Diagnose and manage a broad range of psychiatric and mental health conditions, including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, psychotic disorders, personality disorders, and other behavioural health conditions.Develop individualised treatment plans incorporating evidence-based pharmacotherapy, psychopharmacology, psychotherapy, and appropriate behavioural interventions.Monitor treatment response, medication effectiveness, adverse effects, and overall mental health outcomes, adjusting treatment plans as clinically appropriate.Assess and manage acute psychiatric presentations, psychiatric emergencies, crisis situations, and patients requiring risk intervention.Provide comprehensive Adult Psychiatry and General Psychiatry care across outpatient and inpatient settings.Collaborate with psychologists, therapists, social workers, primary care physicians, and other medical specialists to ensure integrated mental healthcare.Provide patient and family counselling regarding diagnosis, treatment options, recovery, medication adherence, and relapse prevention.Maintain accurate psychiatric documentation and ensure compliance with patient confidentiality, safety, ethical, and clinical governance standards.Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, clinical audits, quality improvement, and mental health service development.Applications are welcome from internationally trained Consultant Psychiatrists holding recognised specialist qualifications such as:American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN)UK CCT / MRCPsych with recognised specialist training in PsychiatryEuropean Board of Psychiatry / National Specialist CertificationRoyal College Certification (Canada)Australian FRANZCPArab Board in PsychiatryMD / DNB / FCPS or equivalent recognised specialist qualification in PsychiatryApplications are welcome from qualified candidates across the USA, UK, Europe, Canada, Australia, India, Middle East, Africa, and South America, subject to UAE licensing eligibility and facility credentialing requirements.
