Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) to lead the commercial strategy and drive sustainable revenue growth for a leading organization operating within the ports, container handling, shipping, and logistics sector.The CCO will oversee Sales, Marketing, Business Development, and Strategic Planning, ensuring commercial strategies are closely aligned with operational capacity and long-term growth objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute the overall commercial strategy in line with port and terminal operations and market trends.Lead and coordinate Sales, Marketing, Business Development, and Strategic Planning functions.Drive sustainable revenue growth, market share expansion, and new business acquisition.Lead major commercial negotiations, contract renewals, and strategic agreements with shipping lines and key clients.Develop and optimize pricing, tariff, discount, and incentive structures while maintaining profitability.Build and strengthen relationships with shipping lines, logistics providers, cargo owners, trade organizations, and other key stakeholders.Oversee market analysis and identify emerging trends, competitive threats, and long-term growth opportunities.Guide commercial investment priorities and service portfolio development.Monitor revenue performance, commercial KPIs, customer satisfaction, contract renewals, and marketing ROI.Ensure commercial plans remain aligned with operational and financial capabilities.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related discipline.MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is preferred.Minimum 13 years of senior commercial leadership experience within ports, shipping, logistics, or related sectors.Demonstrated experience managing multi-division commercial teams.Proven ability to negotiate high-value contracts with major/global stakeholders.Strong knowledge of commercial strategy, pricing, tariffs, business development, and revenue optimization.Excellent leadership, negotiation, strategic planning, and stakeholder management skills.Fluent in both English and Arabic, written and spoken.
