ABIS is looking for an experienced Senior QA/QC Inspector / Engineer specializing in Mechanical work with shutdown and turnaround experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring quality assurance and control during mechanical projects, particularly in shutdown and turnaround environments within the oil and gas industry. This role includes conducting inspections, coordinating with project teams, and ensuring compliance with codes, standards, and safety regulations. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure to support project schedules and quality goals.ResponsibilitiesConduct detailed inspections of mechanical equipment and systems during shutdowns and turnarounds.Ensure compliance with project specifications, international codes, and safety standards.Develop and implement quality control procedures and protocols.Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and project teams to resolve quality-related issues.Prepare inspection reports, non-conformance reports, and documentations as required.Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action processes.Support project management to ensure timely completion of shutdown and turnaround activities.
