The successful candidate will oversee mechanical operations during scheduled shutdowns and turnaround activities, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and meets quality standards. You will coordinate with various teams, monitor mechanical system performance, inspect equipment, and provide technical support to guarantee seamless execution of critical maintenance activities. This challenging role requires proactive problem-solving and strong leadership to manage onsite mechanical engineering tasks in high-pressure environments.ResponsibilitiesPlan, supervise, and execute mechanical engineering tasks during shutdown and turnaround projects.Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and other engineering disciplines to ensure smooth workflow.Conduct inspections and quality checks on mechanical equipment and systems.Ensure compliance with safety standards, project specifications, and regulatory requirements.Provide technical expertise and troubleshooting support to resolve mechanical issues on site.Prepare progress reports, documentation, and communicate with project stakeholders regularly.Assist in resource planning and allocation to meet project timelines.
