The successful candidate will provide comprehensive critical care management for critically ill patients, including patients requiring advanced monitoring, organ support, and emergency interventions. Key responsibilities Assess, diagnose, and manage critically ill patients in intensive care units. Provide comprehensive critical care for medical and surgical patients. Manage patients requiring mechanical ventilation and advanced organ support. Perform and interpret appropriate critical care assessments and investigations. Manage sepsis, respiratory failure, shock, multi-organ dysfunction, and other critical conditions. Provide emergency stabilization and resuscitation when required. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly. Perform or assist with critical care procedures as appropriate. Collaborate with emergency physicians, surgeons, anesthesiologists, cardiologists, and multidisciplinary teams. Participate in ICU rounds, clinical discussions, and multidisciplinary meetings. Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation. Ensure high standards of patient safety, infection control, and quality care. Requirements MBBS or equivalent medical degree. MD/DNB/FCPS/FRCA or equivalent postgraduate qualification in critical care medicine, intensive care medicine, anesthesiology, or a relevant specialty. UK CCT in intensive care medicine or an equivalent recognized specialist qualification is preferred. Minimum 3 years of relevant post-specialization experience preferred. Strong clinical expertise in critical and intensive care medicine. Experience in mechanical ventilation, hemodynamic monitoring, sepsis management, and advanced life support is preferred.
