Requires a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Materials science, Metallurgical engineering, Ceramic engineering, Mechanical engineering, or a related technical discipline. Must have proven experience in technical sales, business development, application engineering, or account management within Refractories, Steel manufacturing, Metallurgical industries, Industrial minerals, or High-temperature process industries. Experience in commercial and technical discussions with industrial customers and a track record of achieving sales targets are essential. Strong understanding of refractory products, steelmaking processes, and familiarity with Flow Control (FC) and Advanced Refractory (AR) portfolios are required. Excellent commercial awareness, negotiation, communication, presentation, relationship-building, analytical problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills are necessary. Proficiency in CRM systems and sales reporting tools is expected, along with a willingness to travel regularly across Indonesia.

Key requirements
Drive sales growth for Flow Control (FC) and Advanced Refractories (AR) products across Indonesia, managing both existing accounts and developing new business opportunities.
Manage the full sales cycle, including customer engagement, technical discussions, quotation preparation, proposal submission, negotiation, order closing, and post-sales support.
Build and maintain strong relationships with steel and non-steel customers, including key stakeholders such as purchasing teams, plant managers, site engineers, and end users.
Provide technical support and product recommendations to customers, ensuring solutions meet operational and performance requirements.
Conduct market research and identify new business opportunities within steel, smelting, mining, and other heavy industrial sectors.
Collaborate with internal technical, operations, finance, and supply chain teams to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction.
Handle customer complaints and product performance issues by coordinating root cause analysis, corrective actions, and timely resolution.
Monitor competitor activities, market trends, pricing strategies, and technological developments to support business growth initiatives.
Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reporting, inventory planning, and CRM updates.
Execute sales strategies and action plans to achieve revenue targets and business objectives.
Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with company HSE standards during customer visits and site activities.
Demonstrate a proactive, independent, and results-driven approach to managing customer relationships and business development activities.
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's degree or master's degree in:
Materials science
Metallurgical engineering

Experience

Technical knowledge
Strong understanding of refractory products and applications for steel and non-steel industries.
Knowledge of steelmaking processes and equipment, including:
Electric Arc Furnace (EAF)
Ladle Furnace (LF)
Continuous Casting Machine (CCM)
Familiarity with Flow Control (FC) and Advanced Refractory (AR) product portfolios.
Ability to evaluate customer processes and recommend value-added technical solutions.
