Description

Key Result Areas 

  • Achieve monthly sales targets in the financial year.

  • Assist in the development and implementation of team goals and objectives, ensuring alignment with the Units strategic direction.

  • Present and sell all personal banking products & services to potential customers in an ethical structured & professional manner.

  • Relationship-manage a portfolio of approved companies by developing key contacts and relationships – ‘Hunter Model’ as feed for team - will carry specific company on-boarding targets 

  • Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers & companies to enhance cross-sell opportunities – will take-up specific company cross-sell/penetration targets

  • Work closely with Corporate and SME Banking units to empanel them for Retail cross-sell 

  • Demonstrated experience in company empanelment, including onboarding, compliance management, maintaining strategic partnerships and managing payroll banking processes.

  • Conducting targeted micro marketing activities that include Kiosk activities – will carry specific targets on # of kiosks activities held; Open doors for team   

  • Will support SM/ASM in driving digitization/automation target - will carry a sub-target     

  • Prospect in targeted segments that require meeting standards in phone calls, and f2f visits.

  • Handling objections with a view to getting the customer to buy or company to transfer payroll.

  • Ensure End-To-End customer TAT is met for all applications submitted with quality adherence as per target guidelines. 

  • Ensure strict compliance with the Bank’s policy with regards to product, customer KYC, FATCA, AML CTF and third-party channel interactions.

  • Record all sales activities in Daily Sales Reports and update CRM for leads and contacts.

  • Participate in all Team Activities like morning huddles, training and coaching, complete mandatory compliance and fraud trainings, Lean & rewards celebrations.

  • Ensure the highest ethics, standards and integrity are followed and immediately escalate any suspected or actual breaches to Senior Management, Governance, as may be required.

  • Additional responsibility to support SM/ASM to monitor team ONR, Buyout, Re-work KPIs – corresponding balanced score card weightage will be assigned   

  • Provide training and mentorship (buddy system) to new and existing team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development – will carry a participation target to drive high productivity 

  • Will be in-charge for the team in the absence/leave of the Sales Manager

  • Exposure to senior management in critical meetings

  • Competitive, dynamic, volatile and regulated business environment with low entry / exit barriers.

  • The job holder will be operating within well-defined and demarcated business areas and is required to adhere to the policies and guidelines set out by the Bank

  • Candidate must effectively / actively liaise with his superiors and direct reports within the business unit to achieve business objectives.

  • The jobholder has to work within central bank guidelines and the bank’s credit policy. Guidance will come from the sales management and product teams.

  •         Performance management will be evaluated basis of the achievement in line with Bank policy

Problem Solving 

  • Facilitate communication between team members, credit underwriting, policy, operations and CAM departments to ensure effective collaboration and information sharing.

  • Represent the team in cross-functional meetings, providing updates and feedback to stakeholders on team progress and challenges.

  • Taking ownership of customer complaints & support in resolution.

Decision Making Authority & Responsibility 

  • Will take on a role as key resource for any new projects /initiatives. 

  • Sales require understanding customers’ individual financial circumstances.

  • Responsible for assisting staff in achieving their goals and objectives.

  • Responsible for assisting the customer in achieving his objectives through courteous and friendly service, accurate promises keeping within the service delivery standards of the bank.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Should have complete product & policy information to ensure necessary documents are provided by the customer before submission to ensure smooth TAT.

  • Sales profile that require confidence, persistence and good verbal/written Skills

  • Knowledge of products, service policies and processes of Retail Banking.

  • Graduate any discipline with 4 years+ retail banking sales experience
